I’m Edu Reyes, a freelance sound engineer. I started in the studio in 2005; today I mix records, run FOH at festivals and coordinate the technical side of tours — same person, three different rooms.

What I do
Recording, mixing, stage and touring — not four separate jobs.
The same ear makes the calls in the studio and on stage: a mix has to move people, a master has to hold up on any system, and a show has to reach the last row intact.

Twenty years behind the console.
I started in the studio. From there I moved into FOH and monitors for most artists in Ecuador, and for some international ones — Cabas, Andrés Cepeda, Karina, Guillermo Dávila, Santiago Cruz, Axel, Nacho, Amigos Invisibles.
I believe music carries emotion and that every project has its own identity, whether I’m in a studio, at FOH, or coordinating a tour.
